Skilled Former Prosecutor represents individuals in divorce, custody, and alimony proceedings
If you are facing divorce or grappling with another family law issue, an experienced attorney can help protect your rights and financial interests while also aiming to preserve the relationship between you and your children. At the Law Office of Heather K. Gray, I represent clients in divorce, alimony, child custody, domestic violence restraining orders and other related matters. Since 2002, I have been offering clients the knowledge and skills in family law that they need to achieve the best outcome possible in your matter. I am assertive and resourceful in my commitment to protecting clients’ rights so that they can decide what’s best for their family.
I worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Riverside County for 17 years. In my time with the District Attorney, I handled hundreds of criminal cases, everything from simple misdemeanors, domestic violence and up to sophisticated felonies and drug rings. I started both the mental health and drug courts in Southwest Riverside County and am used to a collaborative approach to problem solving. I am a tireless advocate in the courtroom, unafraid to stand up for you and what is best for your family. I grew-up in Riverside and still live in Riverside County with my own blended family now. I know firsthand the difficulties divorcing spouses feel and the fear that comes with divorce and custody issues. I bring a real-life approach to my cases and am always available to return a call or answer those questions that do not seem to stop coming when you’re getting divorced. I understand and I want to help you.
Riverside County attorney stands up for clients facing divorce
Family law encompasses a wide range of legal matters that can have long-term implications for you and your family. I represent clients in cases involving:
- Divorce — Whether you are considering divorce or wondering if a legal separation is right for you, I can discuss your circumstances and explain your legal options as well as advocate for you if you’re looking to avoid alimony payments to your ex-spouse. I also appreciate the sacrifices made by servicemembers and their spouses, which is why I handle the unique aspects of military divorce cases.
- Child custody — If you are dealing with a child custody issue, I will fight for an outcome that benefits you and is also in the best interests of your children.
- Modification of orders — When circumstances change, you can rely on my to help you pursue a modification of an existing order, including one involving child support and alimony payments.
- Defending domestic violence orders — If a restraining order has been placed on you, you may face consequences, such as having to move out of your home and losing access to your children. I will defend against a domestic violence order and protect your rights.
At my firm, I treat each client with the respect and compassion they deserve, assisting them 24/7 and providing them with individualized attention.
